The current state of Jakarta’s MRT system

After decades of delay, Jakarta is finally going to have its own MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) system. This isn’t the first mass transportation project planned in Indonesia’s capital. The cancelled monorail project, for example, has raised doubts on whether the city will ever be able to tackle its ever-worsening traffic problem.
